Agricultural complex and factory of “ Farshi Pistachio and Sons” stablished in 1965 by Mohammad Farsh Forosh in Mahvelat. Our main activity is cultivating and processing pistachio. The company set up a pistachio processing unit in 2006. With the integration of specialized agricultural knowledge and Mr. Farsh Forosh's experiences, our complex has become one of the nation's leading organic pistachio producers. The factory has started operating since 2007 with a fully sanitized hall and two processing lines up to the latest international standards. By upgrading the former system and building new halls and processing lines, we have increased the productivity from 6 tons to 20 tons per hour. The total annual capacity has increased to 6000 tons of fresh pistachio. Using world-class knowledge and support of the Agricultural Jihad Organization and Environmental health organizations, we have processed organic pistachio in a completely hygienic environment without any environmental pollution. By constructing an industrial treatment plant and applying the ozone generator for the first time in Iran, we started disinfecting the pistachio and its effluent in the pistachio processing plant. It has taken a valuable product in the field of export and non-oil and foreign currency entry into the country. Also, by removing aflatoxin and whitening of the pistachio shell, we made a big step towards improving the quality of pistachio as a valuable export and non-oil product and currency entry into the country.
